CityBooks is the publishing arm of Future Factory, L.L.C., a venture capital firm with a hands-on management approach. Our authors are entrepreneurs with domain expertise in a marketable category. CityBooks does not accept unsolicited manuscripts. CityBooks does not accept on-line queries or manuscript submissions. Before sending us a book proposal, we urge you to craft a business plan. If you feel certain that your work is appropriate to our mission, then please send a query letter that includes your resume (with a list of previous publications) and the following: - A one- to two-page description of the book, outlining your argument
- An annotated table of contents (a sentence or two about each chapter)
- A sample chapter
- Summary business plan

We have a small editorial staff and cannot take phone calls or respond to e-mail inquiries about the status of your proposal. You should receive a reply from our staff within three months.
